10 Fully-Funded Places

Join the Sister School Partnership programme between the UK and China

As the leading provider of the bilateral, long-term Sister School Partnership programme between the UK and China, we are delighted to be offering 10 FREE PLACES on the programme for new schools to provide life-changing opportunities for the whole school community.

What is the Sister School Partnerships programme?

The Sister School Partnerships programme is a long-term relationship between two partner schools, consisting of immersive bilateral student exchanges, leadership delegations and teacher training trips, meaningful joint projects, online collaborations and curriculum enrichment.

Global programmes have a profound impact on students and staff alike. Sister School Partnerships are proven to have a positive effect on pupil awareness, attitudes and response. Significant outcomes are almost immediately noticeable in exchange students and hosting participants, ensuring results on the wider community are observed once the principals and values promoted by the programme are embedded in the whole-school policy.

As part of the programme, school leaders will join a delegation to visit the partner school and meet the leadership team, sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and conduct a pre-trip check for future student visits. Delegates will attend an education forum to learn about the local culture and education system by meeting with education officials and other school leaders.

Both schools with connect and collaborate on the Global School Alliance platform, access support from a dedicated Account Manager and join the Awards programme.

The visit to China to see our sister school is a fantastic opportunity for our students to meet young people their own age from different cultures. They have talked non-stop about the trip since they have returned and it is wonderful to hear all their stories. I hope the memories of this incredible experience stays with them for many years to come.

It’s amazing how it enriches experiences of the learning journey that your students go on. It’s much more than academic, it changes their mindset and outlook on life It opens up future career paths for them. I would say offer it to as many students as you can because it’s brilliant.

This experience of going to see how education is delivered in China has been phenomenal. The friendship that we will look to develop between the two schools will open up so many doors for staff and students. It really is a fantastic opportunity.
