What are Global Citizen Camps?
Global Citizen Camps are term-time school immersions that take place in schools around the world. Bringing together students from different countries to learn, collaborate, and connect within the safe environment of a host school. Rather than simply visiting a destination and observing, students become part of a vibrant school community, engaging alongside local and international peers through shared lessons, projects, cultural activities and community experiences.
Hosted in collaboration with our partner schools around the world, Global Citizen Camps provide students with a week of in-school immersion. Students work together on collaborative projects, participate in cultural exchange activities, explore local communities, and develop meaningful friendships across borders.
Each camp follows a proven Global School Alliance framework, built around three key principles:
Connect – Students build relationships with peers from different cultures and backgrounds.
Collaborate – Participants work together through curriculum-based activities, sports, creative projects, and cultural experiences.
Inspire – Students return home with greater confidence, broader perspectives, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Available destinations include China, Morocco, Kenya, India, Japan, and the United Kingdom, with each location offering a unique cultural and educational experience while maintaining the same commitment to global citizenship and student development.
