We are delighted to partner with Climate Ambassadors to deliver this insightful webinar for schools in England, exploring practical steps for developing a Climate Action Plan and building confidence in embedding sustainability across the school.

This webinar is designed to support schools in England as they work towards meeting the Department for Education’s requirement to have a Climate Action Plan in place by September 2025.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to enhance existing efforts, this session will provide clear guidance, practical tools and inspiring examples to help you take meaningful climate action.

Climate Ambassadors is one of the initiatives supporting delivery of the Department for Education’s Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy.  By the end of 2025, DfE expect every education setting in England from Early Years to Post-16 to have a Sustainability Lead and Climate Action Plan in place covering Adaptation & Resilience, Biodiversity, Climate Education and Green Careers and Decarbonisation.  Climate Ambassadors offers free support from trained volunteers to education settings to develop and deliver this work.  We have a network of nine regional hubs led by university and research partners to develop and facilitate local networks and activity and work closely with our DfE-funded ‘sister’ projects, National Education Nature Park and Sustainability Support for Education plus Let’s Go Zero.  We are seeing settings develop Climate Action Plans and set priorities at both Trust and individual setting level across England.
