Within the teaching profession, there are a number of educators who understand the importance of diversifying their approach to education in preparation for an increasingly globalised world, and we believe their efforts need to be recognised.
That’s why we’re launching our award, to celebrate the great globally focused work by educators.
The Global Educator of the Year award recognises those who increase the standards of quality education through international projects and partnerships.

1. Eligibility
- be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry
- an educator from any educational institution from any country in the world
- meet the criteria of what it means to be a ‘global educator’
2. How to enter?
To enter, simply complete the application form.
3. Selection process
All submitted nominations will go through a selection process where the Global School Alliance team will access which nominations will be shortlisted. The shortlist of four finalists will be shared on Twitter where the final vote will take place.
