New AQA GCSE Spanish Speaking Booklet (2026)

This 90-page booklet has been created to help your students to prepare and practise in readiness for their Spanish GCSE Speaking Exam in 2026. It is intended to be printed in the format of an A4 booklet that you can provide to your students as an invaluable resource wherein they can plan, write and memorise answers for the third and final part of the exam.
A detailed explanation of the structure of each section of the speaking exam is provided as well as practice questions and guidance to help students to formulate complex, high-quality answers.
The booklet contains:

  • examples of read aloud tasks + follow-up questions
  • examples of role-play tasks + practice for forming a question
  • examples of picture tasks

With over 30 years in education, Julie has dedicated her career to inspiring both students and educators through a lifelong passion for languages. She has held various middle and senior leadership roles and understands the unique challenges of leading Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
As a former National Lead Practitioner for MFL in a large multi-academy trust, she supported over 40 schools with tailored training, CPD, and leadership development, including delivering the NPQ for Leading Teacher Development. She is also an experienced MFL GCSE examiner.
Now working as Education Development Lead for MFL at the Global School Alliance, she continues to champion languages, support teachers, and promote global partnerships that broaden young people’s horizons and build cultural awareness for a more connected world.
