Bronze Award Actions

To be confirmed as a Bronze award holder, we expect you to have completed items. No written evidence is collected but you can tell us which actions you’ve taken during our verification call. You will then receive the certification.

• Be a member of the Global School Alliance or a similar global education community.
  Let us know about any memberships during the call and if you are not a member yet, Join us: Our Community
• Attend online or in-person global education conferences and webinars to learn from colleagues worldwide.
  Let us know which events you’ve attended and please consider registering for our free Virtual Education Conference.
• Ensure you start work on an action plan or policy to embed the global dimensions in the school curriculum.
  We’ve prepared some templates with examples to guide you if you do not yet have these documents in place

Evidence will be required to advance to the Silver or Gold-level awards. Take some time to review the templates and start completing them at your convenience.

Silver Award Actions

To be assessed for your Silver award, please prepare evidence of your existing partnership(s) and be ready to talk to our team about the following items. Evidence could comprise oral narratives, reports, write-ups, media coverage, or other internal or third-party documentation.

• Partnerships, joint projects and international activities carried out with your partner school.
• Cross-curricular activities in your school that focus on global issues, global citizenship or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Engagement and activity on the Global School Alliance social network (photos, blogs, articles)
• Participation/attendance at Global School Alliance events (conferences, competitions, webinars, online events)

Gold Award Actions

To be assessed for your Gold award, please prepare evidence of your existing partnership(s) and be ready to talk to our team about the following items. Evidence could comprise oral narratives, reports, write-ups, media coverage, or other internal or third-party documentation.

• Student exchanges or trips occurring in the most recent 24 months outbound and inbound.
• Leadership delegations and research trips
• Sister School arrangements
• Papers, reports or other sharing of best practice of your international activities.
